Proposed closure of St Andrew’s Church of England High School

Croydon Council has today (25 June) started formal consultation on the proposed closure of St Andrew’s Church of England (CofE) High School in August 2020. This is the next stage in the statutory process which began in March 2019, when the council opened a pre-publication consultation on the proposed closure of the school.

Croydon appoints new Violence Reduction Network director

Croydon Council has announced the appointment of Sarah Hayward as the director of Croydon’s newly-created Violence Reduction Network.The innovative network, which is one of the first of its kind in the capital, adopts a holistic approach to violence reduction and will see all forms of violence treated as a public health issue by tackling the root causes.
