Croydon Council is set to consult on a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) to cover the town centre and provide police with additional powers to tackle anti-social behaviour.
The results for South Croydon's by-election on Thursday 30 June were declared today at Croydon's Town Hall. Danielle Denton (CON) was elected as South Croydon's new Councillor.
Mayor Perry’s plans to drive forward housing improvements with the adoption of a Residents’ Charter and a new, improved repairs service – both developed in partnership with tenants - were approved at cabinet this week.

At the first cabinet meeting of the new administration this week, I was pleased to move forward with some important changes I know residents want to see.
Croydon’s Executive Mayor approved the removal of Croydon’s SPD2 planning guide at his first cabinet meeting this week, marking a firm step to reset planning in the borough. Removal will be recommended to full Council later this summer for final approval.
Croydon Council is supporting residents in greatest need this summer with over £3m in extra funding.
