It was wonderful to hear that Owami Davies was found safe and well on Tuesday more than six weeks after she went missing. This must be a huge relief for her family and friends after what will have been an unimaginably stressful time.

Croydon schools were busy today as pupils picked up their GCSE and year 11 examinations results. Year 11s had been faced with disruption and remote learning throughout the past two years of the pandemic, before finally sitting their first in-person end of year exams earlier this summer.

Work begins this week to improve access to seven healthy neighbourhood schemes in Croydon, replacing planters with cameras in a majority of streets.
