Communities across Croydon are being given the opportunity to get-together with their friends and neighbours to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.

On Wednesday the council set a budget for 2023/24 that will protect vital services whilst we continue to fix the finances and rebuild the council so that it is smaller and more efficient, providing good services and value for money.

Croydon Council last night (8 March 2023) set its budget for the next financial year after the Executive Mayor’s proposals were approved at Full Council.

Croydon’s drive to improve its housing service has reached a significant milestone with contracts to be offered to new partners to provide an upgraded and improved repairs service for council tenants.

Following the Council meeting on Wednesday night I have received a number of questions from residents about what the next steps are in regard to the Council’s 2023/24 budget setting process.
